August 26, 2002 journal, quoting firefromheaven.net, the Bible says that greed is idolatry,

which means the people of America are guilty of idolatry, and the preachers are guilty of leading the people into idolatry.  Even those preachers that do not teach the gospel of wealth teach that it is okay to be rich. It is not just the Charismatics that are guilty of materialism, which is idolatry.  The parking lots of many other churches are like Cadillac showrooms.  Therefore, God is going to bring economic disaster on America.  God is going to take away retirement accounts and vacation homes, the sports cars and diamond rings.  God is going to teach the money loving Christians in America a lesson that money cannot buy.  God is going to give the money loving Christians in America spiritual gold which comes only by being refined in fire.  "There are millions of Christians in Sudan that are suffering great persecution, but they are getting little help from Christians in America: The National Islamic front is employing murder, rape, and torture to eradicate Christianity from Sudan.  Christian villages are burned to the ground and raided.  Christian men are killed.  Christian women are enslaved and raped.  Christian children are sold into slavery.  Priest are tortured, imprisoned, and even crucified.  Since 1983, more than one million Sudanese Christians have been killed".  (Family Research Council, Frc.org)  Rather than sending money to help the Christians in the Sudan, the people in America are eating up sermons about "money cometh" and "who wants to be a millionaire".  There are millions all homeless children throughout the world that are not being helped by the prosperous Christians in America, therefore God is going to take the money away from all the rich Christians who still don't have enough.  Money is not going to "cometh".  Money is going to goeth. God commanded that we share our wealth with those that do not have enough.  But American Christians are using the money on themselves.  Africa is not the promised land of Canaan, the Sahara Desert does not flow with milk and honey, therefore God expects us to help them.  They are not poor because they don't pay tithes or because they don't have enough faith.  The Apostle John said if we see our brother in need and do not help him, "How can the love of God be in him"(1 John 3:17).  This message tells us that Christian Brothers will be in need, it also tells us that we are responsible for helping our brothers in need.  There are numerous other passages, but they are being ignored by the Laodicean Christians who say, "Give us no more visions of what is right! Tell us pleasant things, prophecy illusion's". (Isaiah 30:10)   "I prophesy that an economic depression will began in 2007.  How severe it will be, I do not know, I expect it will probably be as big as the Great Depression of the 1930's, or worse.  Perhaps even before 2007, the greedy stock market will fall badly, then it will recover and people will think that everything is back to normal, then it will crash big-time.  Both crashes may take place in 2007, but the first one might be in 2005 or 2006".  This quote from the above website expresses my sentiments

precisely and I applaud the writer.  Actually, the recent dips in the stock market could fulfill his prophecy already. This coincides with my own prophecy very nearly calling Wall Street a giant gambling casino that is destined to fall when God withdraws his great mercy

from this world and this economic system will be trashed and the history as time reveals.

Quoting the first paragraph of the above timely message in yesterdays journal.  I defy any

preacher preaching prosperity religion that God will make you rich.  God will meet your needs and may teach you to live without all your luxuries but God is not in the money business.  Let us recognize God for what He is and not place God out of character.  Let us operate within God’s will and purpose and receive His fullness in our daily lives to rejoice.
